Virtual World User Interface
Google initially sought out the BLITZ team to design the user interface controls for the online virtual space called Lively. The project evolved into a larger conceptual collaboration on how users interact with the Lively world and its various features. With the goal of maintaining Google’s reputation for ease of use and simplicity in design, we devised an interface that provided game play-like control with application-style organization and clarity. The design was a great complement to Google, which has historically focused its efforts around interface and usability over style — Google Lively truly married the two.
