As part of the Guitar Hero NCAA March Madness sponsorship, Activision needed an online destination specific to the offline campaign that would allow users to view the specialty spots that were produced for the event. We created a simple landing page that showcased the three broadcast spots, and included an unlockable outtake video that featured NCAA coaches yucking it up with the Metallica band members. Throughout March, the site received thousands of hits, and through the registration/unlock model, Activision was able to gain important user data for upcoming Campañas CRM efforts.
