With Silverlight gaining more acceptance with the masses, Miscrosoft was looking for a way to position the development tool in a way that was less geeky and more entertaining. Working closely with Break.com, one of the largest video-sharing Web sites, we created a new exploratory way for their audience to find videos. Because much of their content was encoded in the .WMV format, it gave us the ability to flex our Silverlight muscle and create a 3D-like search and browse interface that allows users find videos as well as discover new videos based on tags and ratings.
